In terms of images I take one week to deliver previews and two weeks to deliver full galleries to my clients. Highlight films take generally 6 - 8 weeks , this will depend on the amount of revisions . Lastly prints and photobooks are delivered after 4 - 6 weeks.
While we fully understand the question, this is a little like going to a restaurant and asking for the raw ingredients. While we shoot in a raw format, we edit each image so that everything looks beautiful. All delivered images will be consistent with our portfolio
Yes , he/she aids with lighting , organizing and managing logistics for the day.
Things like the size of your wedding party, number of guests, length of time allowed for portraits, number of locations, travel time between locations, etc.. all these factors play a role in how many photos you will end up with. For my full day (8hrs) packages I generally deliver 500+ images.
Once I have delivered your full gallery , my client will choose their favourite images. Clients then send the file names of said images which will be used to create a first draft. Once the client is happy with the book I will send them off to the printers where it will generally take 2 weeks to be completed.
Unfortunately not , bookings are made on a first come first serve basis . Without a signed contract and retainer I cannot guarantee your date/booking.
The retainer and any monies paid are non-refundable. Your retainer guarantees your date , this means I often turn down other jobs for the same date. In cases where the wedding/event is postponed your retainer will be used towards this new date (this only applies in cases where appropriate notice has been given).
ASAP! Since I don't hold dates for clients I cannot predict when my weekends will fill up. Some clients book a year in advance while others book 2 -3 months in advance.

As soon as you've booked your venue, you should begin your search for a wedding photographer and put down a retainer as soon as you can.
This is dependent on my schedule , generally I try to be as flexible as possible and therefore if possible I will stay longer (at fee) if requested.
Yes , this is a contractual obligation. If you would prefer not to please discuss this ahead of time with us as we will need to allocate 45 - 60 minutes to go off site and collect a meal then.

Feeding us ensures we stay cheerful , mobile as well as not faint from starvation. I think we all heard about what happens when photographers don't get fed.
I offer full day coverage (8 or 10 hours) as well as half day coverage (4 or 6 hours).
Eight hours of coverage is typically recommended for a standard wedding day (getting ready through to first dance).
You may opt for 10 hours if:
  • You want to make sure everything is captured!
  • There is a decent amount of travel between the various locations on your wedding day
  • You’re having a very large wedding and will require extra time for wedding party/family photos
You may want half day coverage if:
  • You’re planning a small wedding
  • You don’t have a wedding party
  • You don’t want getting ready photos
  • You don’t require photographic coverage during the entire reception
Yes, I will likely share some of your images online. If this is an issue for you please let me know ahead of time.
Some couples choose to rely solely on their professional photographer when it comes to photographing the ceremony. These couples will ask their guests to not take photos and to not use their phone during the ceremony. With an unplugged ceremony, all of your guests will be fully present to share this special moment with you, rather than watching it happen through the screen of their phone. I highly recommend this for all my weddings and events.

If you do wish to go this route, tell the officiant to inform guests at start of the ceremony as well as the MC at the start of the reception. Otherwise a sign at the entrance works as well.
If you wedding location is within a reasonable travelling distance from my home (Cape Town, Bellville) then there are no travel costs for you to consider.
Yes, absolutely! I love to send clients previews one week after the wedding to update their profile pictures and start sharing with friends and family.
This is my favourite time of day to capture images , this can be seen in my portfolio/social media.

I can let you know when the golden hour will be on your wedding day so that we can plan some gorgeous photos of the two of you at that time into your wedding day timeline.

Of course, living in Cape Town, we have to accept that there’s no guarantee of great weather and hence a Golden Hour. It’s important that we’ve also planned an alternative time on your day to get some photos of just the two of you.
I try for a vibrant, true to life, photojournalistic style of wedding photography. I mainly photograph candidly (specifically the couple) to capture the true feeling of your wedding day, though I will also spend some time guiding and posing you for some more memorable pictures.
Yes! While I typically try to incorporate natural light as much as possible, once the sun goes down I break out the off-camera lighting to make sure your reception photographs are as beautiful and clear as possible. I’ve photographed weddings in as many different lighting scenarios as you can imagine.

Due to my frequent use of flash it is important that you get permission from your church/mosque/venue and or officiant that this will be okay.
Yes, I always have at least two cameras and multiple lenses, it’s exceptionally rare that a technical issue occurs but in the event that it does, I’m covered!

I am Juvani Aaron, a self-taught wedding photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa, with a passion for capturing real emotions and beautiful moments.

With three years of experience behind the lens, I specialize in wedding photography, particularly portraits that convey the intimacy and joy of your special day.

As I aspire to be one of the top wedding photographers in Cape Town, I strive to make couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, capturing candid moments that reflect their unique love story.

When I'm not photographing a wedding or editing beautiful wedding photos, I enjoy watching YouTube tutorials to refine my skills or relaxing with Netflix.

I believe every couple deserves stunning memories of their wedding day, whether it's a grand celebration or an intimate elopement at a beautiful Cape wedding venue in the Western Cape or the Winelands.

My approach is calm, unobtrusive, and focused on capturing those little moments that make your big day truly special - like the tender exchange of vows, the laughter during the reception, or the spontaneous joy of the first dance.

I work with couples to ensure their wedding photography experience is as seamless as possible, offering personalized packages tailored to their needs.

Whether you're planning a destination wedding or a local celebration, my goal is to go above and beyond to deliver photos that you will cherish forever.

Let’s capture your beautiful journey together. I’m honoured to be a part of your special moments, turning them into lasting memories.
